Kamala Harris Is Much Worse Than Anyone Thought

Leaving aside political ideological opinions, it is quite difficult to argue against any of this.

The underlying theme of this article is a classic example of Diversity Equity Inclusion at work. Among the normal leadership principles of a successful enterprise dictates that an individual whose title includes the word "President" would have a track record of managing a team to address problems and fix them. Kamala Harris has no such record. Biden selected her as his running mate in his successful 2020 campaign only because she is a woman of color.

There is an absence of leadership in the Biden administration. Biden is a absent from his duty as President. Harris is absent from her duty as Vice President. The unelected bureaucracy has taken over the leadership of our Country until January 2025.

If Harris is elected as our next President, we should all hope that she will prove that the opinions expressed here are wrong.

Excerpts:

There are plenty of people in politics who just do not stand for anything other than their own glory – the not bright, not quite stupid who lean one direction or another, but don’t really believe in anything as a principle, only as a means to an end. That end is always their own glory, their own power.

These people will do anything, say anything, to obtain power. They like the trappings – the people sucking up, the power of God on a small scale, the ability to reward or punish.

Harris does not have any core beliefs and has not done the work to even form them.

It’s easy to claim accomplishments as an Attorney General, but the work is actually done by prosecutors across the state.

Given the chance at some responsibility as Vice President, Harris balked. Don’t call her Border Czar! Things don’t just happen; someone has to take a risk and the responsibility of things don’t work out. She is not capable of articulating any vision.

When asked the basic question about how she is feeling about her chances in Pennsylvania, Harris responded  “I am feeling very good about Pennsylvania. because there are a lot of people in Pennsylvania who deserve to be seen and heard."

Kamala doesn’t do the work because she’s never had to do the work.

This quote from the article is interesting

"There are plenty of people in politics who just do not stand for anything other than their own glory – the not bright, not quite stupid who lean one direction or another, but don’t really believe in anything as a principle, only as a means to an end. That end is always their own glory, their own power.

Harris does not have any core beliefs and has not done the work to even form them. "

I find that true of both Harris and Trump. As I look back over Trump's career, he has changed positions so many times it's hard to count. Is he pro-choice or pro-life? Depends on what decade. Is he a Democrat or Republican. Also depends on what decade. Is he a good businessman? Certainly better than most by his results but he also has many businesses that filed for BK. I remember articles in NJ back when he owned the casinos detailing how many tradesman he stiffed for payment. Is that good business or bad ethics?

I'm not saying this as an indictment of him specifically but it seems to me that paragraph describes perfectly the current definition of most politicians from any party.

There are still some people that stand for what they believe and unfortunately, those people seemed to have been sidelined by the respective party apparatus. Mitt Romney and Bernie Sanders come to mind from each party. John McCain was another who should have been President except for his poor choice of running mate.

The primary system is set up to reward the extremes from each party to get nominated and then those of us on the center are left with what is, in my opinion, poor choices and always a pandering to the center to win the general election even though it's clear that neither candidate believe what they have to say to win the general election. I am not sure how that ever gets fixed but I do know that fielding ever more extreme candidates on both sides is not going to end well for our great country.

While I agree with much of the above, I do think it has is a false equivalency between Trump and Harris. Yes both, like most politicians lie (you can tell because their lips move); however, if you look at what motivates them it seems that Trump as President will always do what is best for himself while Harris as President will likely do what she thinks is best for the country. Makes my voting decision easy.

I don’t know who Tom G is in above reply. However, in all that has been said during the past several days, your remarks Tom, are the dumbest, most naive and just plain stupid I have seen.
They are so intellectually inappropriate, that they don’t even qualify, or meet the standard of a low info voter
